FORGING A NEW PATH: BUILDING A COMMON COOPERATIVE AGENDA

Philippine Cooperative Center’s 26^th Anniversary Celebration

Greetings and best wishes to all our fellow cooperators, partner organizations, and movement allies. The Philippine Cooperative Center invites everyone to its 26th Anniversary celebration with the theme “Forging a New Path: Building a Common Cooperative Agenda” on March 10, 2023, through our Facebook live stream starting at 10:00 am.

The Philippine Cooperative Center (PCC) is the coordinating body for cooperatives in the country, a unifying center that advocates and educates on behalf of the cooperative sector. The principles and values of cooperativism are at the heart of PCC’s mission, vision, and core values. PCC aims to serve the sector by being the transforming voice towards the empowerment and upliftment of the lives of cooperators and their communities.

Starting this year, PCC will be forging its new path. Last year, we recognized our roots, and today we are growing our branches as a cooperative. Key plans were conceived after an extensive strategic seminar in Vigan last February. PCC will be focusing on the following: (1) Center as a Business Excellence Center, (2) Real Estate Development and Property Management, (3) Knowledge and Development Center, (4) Data Center, and (5) PCC Advocacy Center.

The celebration tomorrow will be prefaced by a thanksgiving mass to be presided over by Fr. Anton CT Pascual, followed by an address from PCC Chairperson Dr. Divina Quemi. The event will be live-streamed on Facebook through  https://www.facebook.com/coop.apex
