The Philippine cooperative movement, led by the Philippine Cooperative Centre (PCC) has shown its recognition to the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law, thanks to the efforts of Representative Anthony Bravo who turned over a copy of RA 10963 to stalwarts of the movement. One plus point that the movement can be proud of are its collective efforts in having successfully defended the VAT exemption under this law.

It was also a very enriching meeting between Rep. Bravo and representatives of coop federations, partylists and primary coops where they strategized how to maximize coop representations in Congress. Similar consultation forums will be done per island region to discuss national issues and strengthen the political power of the sector.
